A pic for Grammy and Honey's Bday
This first picture is especially for Grammie. Before Bruce was born she bought this fabric thinking she would make herself a maternity coat. Well, it never became a coat but this fall it became 2 jumpers for these 2 little girls :) Hope you like them Grammie :) Honey especially likes hers. Jam really likes the buttons but wants me to move them up high like Honey's. I may do that for her.
Here's our 4 year old with her new stamps.

This fall in pictures
The time is flying along and I'm not here much so I thought I'd add a bunch of pics today. The order will be messed up as I still have trouble knowing how they'll load but here they are.
Rockhounding
Playing in the leaves with cousins.

Enjoying the big leaf pile.

On the Eagle's Nest.

One of our nieces. She looked like a little bird in her nest of pine needles but the pic doesn't do it justice. Still, had to share it.

Jam playing baseball in her jammie pants.

For his Bday present we got Bruce this US camo outfit from a surplus store. He's pretty excited.

Grampa waiting for the rest of us to finish up our walk in the woods.

To those who were there... can you tell she's about to fall? Poor girl. This pic still makes me laugh.

Some of the cousins

Grampa and Honey.

See, that's a lot of fire for one little cake!

Here we are enjoying the fair. This was the first year we tried the midway. The girls and Bruce had fun. I confirmed the fact that I don't care for rides. I did enjoy the rest of the fair though. The highlight for the girls was watching a cow have a shower. I don't have a pic here of that. Thought I did though...

40 candles can really melt the chocolate on a cake!!

Can she bake an apple pie...?
Yes, but she's a young thing and cannot leave her mother :)
We had fun making an apple pie one day last week. Don't worry she's using my dullest paring knife on very soft apples. I don't know what kind they were but they were so easy to cut. She had a lot of fun. It was her first time being allowed to use a knife. I was impressed with how uniform she was able to keep the pieces.

Grade One
This week Jam started having homework to do each night. Everyday they have a word of the day. Monday's word was me. Tuesday's was is. Here she is showing off her finished homework. Basically it's lots of practice writing the word of the day. On Friday there will be a spelling test of the week's words. Monday she loved doing her homework but not Tuesday. She still struggles with making the letter s so it was a lot more frustrating writing the word is over and over. It was fun to cut the letters out and glue them on the paper though. She does know how to make the word, just not that pesky s.

Today we got the key to the new place
We got to take the girls in for their first look around. They had a lot of fun. Honey told me she'd yelled and yelled to me from inside my closet and I didn't hear a thing. I guess it's pretty sound proof. I was just in the room below her.
Here's our new house #. We think God took our 83 of our present address and blessed us a hundred fold... 8hundred3.

Our Next Home :)
(someday I'll figure out posting blog pictures I'm sure... but here's one I accidently deleted then tried to reinsert where it came out but of course it just posted here at the beginning :)
This is the dining room.
I'm pretty sure I'll never fully understand why God does what He does!! This home is definitely an indication of how interested God is in our individual lives. I mean, many of His children all over the world live in cardboard boxes, does He love them any less than He does me? No. Why did He ever allow me to live in this free country and then on top of that allow us to move to this beautiful place? It is overwhelming. If he wanted us to keep living in a basement apartment would He love me any less? No. Would He have provided us with the grace to live underground again? Yes. I really believe God does not bless us because we are good but because He is good. I don't deserve this place any more than any other of his children, yet this is where He provided a place for us to live. God of all the universe heard the cry of His children, us. We asked Him for windows. We asked Him for someplace close to school. We asked Him for a good school neighbourhood for Jam. Those were our main requests. (A man at church told us that his main request was that God would put us above ground.) Sometimes over the last month or so we even doubted that He would provide those things. Not that He could, but that He would. Now look at these beautiful pictures and join with us in rejoicing. Thank you so much to God for this lovely house. Thank you to those of you who prayed for us. Please be sure to praise God for His answer. Thank You!!
Oh, God, may we bring glory to you by our rejoicing and in just living in this place you have provided, Amen!!

(no, he's not being frisked, just measuring the garage wall)
